ER

This show is about the people who work in the emergency room of County General hospital in Chicago, dealing with both their personal and professional lives and the patients that they encounter. In this episode one of the doctors, Abby, who had recently discovered she was pregnant, tries to decide with her boyfriend Luka whether she really wants to have the baby. In another storyline, a very religious teenage girl is brought in and trouble ensues when it is determined she is pregnant and the doctors must decide whether they should tell her parents. Head of the ER Kerry is brought in as a patient after she falls on the ice, and is upset to discover she may need a new hip. Another patient who is brought in is a young man, Ted Cunningham, who is in a permanent non-responsive state. His mother, played by Jo, explains to the doctors that his condition is the result of a drunk-driving accident, but he is brought in this time for difficulties with his trach tube.
