In this episode, Ned is accidentally knocked down by their Andalusian horse and falls into a coma. This devastates the family. Alice refuses to leave his side, and Lexy blames herself for what happened. Sean tries to run the breeding business, and asks for Megan's help in finding another doctor to look at his father. Meanwhile, Ned is visited by the spirit of his late wife Libby during his coma.
