Synopsis Of Movie:
In this science-fiction movie, a hole in the ozone layer threatens the city of Los Angeles. When environmentalist Evan Thorne finds out about the hole, he gets together a team to try and help. Evan and his sister Jennifer (the mayor's aide) enlist the help of Elizabeth Sobel (played by Jo), an oceanic scientist, to try and convince the mayor to evacuate the city. However, the mayor won't consent without the okay of Dr. Aaron Schiffren, the corrupt head of the committee of Atmospheric Research. John Morgan, a tv reporter, continually tries to get the story. As the hole moves closer, chaos erupts. Hospitals fill with severe burn patients, animals nervous-systems go hay-wire causing bizarre behavior, and insects swarm everywhere. Evan and his team work to come up with a solution to repair the problem.
