Isabel and Jesse's relationship grows more serious and Isabel is visited by the ghost of Alex. Liz's father continues to forbid Max from seeing her, and tries to stop Liz from having any freedom. Liz finds out from Nancy that he is acting this way because of an incident from his past. Maria is angry at Michael because he keeps canceling and forgetting dates.
