Hope misplaced Sally's diary. She knows she put it in one of the cartons in the basement, but now it has become mixed up with all her other cartons of books. There had been a small flood in the basement, and she wants to find the diary quickly before it gets destroyed.

See if you can help Hope find that missing diary. Select any clue and click on it to find out the answer. Then use it to help you guess which carton to open, by clicking on it to open it. Keep selecting clues and making guesses until you find the diary. If you find the diary in one or two tries, Hope finds Sally's diary completely unharmed. If it takes you three or four clues, Hope finds the diary, but in a very soggy condition. If it takes you five or more, the diary is completely destroyed. So hurry!
